For this patient, this procedure gave her the defined jawline she was looking for. This 2-3 hour procedure has very little downtime. Patients are required to wear a compression garment for 36 hours and then they can take off the compression during the day and wear it at night to go to sleep for 1-2 weeks. For some patients they may be some bruising, this patient showed little to no signs of bruising. After one week she is still slightly swollen so we expect to see even better results. Our patients love this procedure because unlike other treatments for chin fat, laser liposuction allows doctors to sculpt and reach other areas of the lower face to give real definition. The down time is also much shorter than with other procedure such as Kybella and cost wise it is similar to a series of ultrasound and radio frequency treatments but you get to see your result sooner.
